Hi! I'm Saswath. I'm a trained software engineer who completed his bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST), Kattankulathur, Tamil Nadu. Soon after graduation, I joined Oracle's MySQL Development Team, specifically in its cloud division to work on MySQL as a service (MySQLaaS), Oracle Cloud's fully managed database service. I stayed in that role from 2021 till 2025, gaining valuable knowledge in the areas of software and API testing, automating regression suites with Java, working with Python and Bash to communicate with API endpoints, leveraging Terraform based environments to dynamically configure and trigger tests by updating infrastructure code, debugging Jenkins pipeline issues and resolving operational issues in production environments as on-call operator with the help of observability tools like Grafana.
